• Abstracts will be evaluated by the
Abstract
Evaluation Committee.
• The committee consists of reviewers selected by the
board from among the scientific committee members,
speakers, session chairs, and experts in the field.
• Taking into account the content and total number of
submissions, the committee reserves the right to accept
or reject an abstract and, if accepted, to change its
presentation type (oral or poster).
• The evaluation result (acceptance or rejection) will
be notified by e-mail to the submitting author at least
25 days before
the start of the congress.
• An abstract (oral or poster) may only be presented by
one of its authors; therefore,
at least one
author must attend the congress.
• Authors of accepted abstracts must complete congress
registration within
5 days
following the date of acceptance notification.
• Accepted abstracts
cannot be
withdrawn after the acceptance letter has been
issued.
• Abstracts that are not presented (oral or poster) will
be announced on the congress and association websites
under the title “UNPRESENTED ABSTRACTS” at the end of
the congress.
ORAL AND
POSTER PRESENTATIONS:
At the 15th
International DAS Congress, presentations will
be delivered as oral or e-poster.
Submitted abstracts and presentations may be prepared
and presented in
Turkish or
English.
• Presentations
must be prepared using
Microsoft
Office PowerPoint.
• Presenters must deliver their presentation files to
the Speaker
Ready Room at least one day before their
scheduled presentation time and perform final checks.
• The presentation duration is
5 minutes,
followed by 2
minutes for questions and discussion. This time
limit must not be exceeded.
• The presentation
time is 5
minutes.
• A 2-minute
Q&A period follows each presentation.
• Due to the tight schedule, extension of the
presentation time is
not possible.
• To effectively present within 5 minutes, the following
recommendations may be helpful:
“Methods” and “Results” are the most important sections.
Avoid lengthy general information. A single introductory sentence is sufficient. You may start directly with the Objective.
Objective: Clearly state the aim of the study.
Methods: Briefly describe where, when, on whom, and how the study was conducted—avoid unnecessary details.
Results: Present the main findings first. Details can be shown on tables/figures.
Conclusion:
Express in one–two sentences.
• Prepare the presentation as a
PowerPoint
file.
• Allow approximately
30 seconds
per slide, with a total of around
10 slides.
• The first slide must include the title of the
study, authors' names, and their institutions.
• Text on slides should be clearly readable by the
audience.
• Please rehearse your presentation before attending
the congress to ensure good time management and
reduce performance anxiety.
NOTE:
Presenters must deliver their files to the
Speaker Ready
Room at least one day before their scheduled
presentation for final checks.
• E-poster format
will be used —
no printing is required. You will be contacted
regarding submission before the congress.
• Poster presenters must be present at their posters
during the
poster discussion session on December 12, 2025, between
13:00–14:00
