Dear Colleagues, DAS Volunteers and Esteemed Stakeholders of the Health
Sector,
We are very pleased to invite you to the 15th International Sterilization and
Disinfection Congress, which we will organize in Marmaris, Muğla, on December
11-14, 2025. The theme of this year's congress will be "Attention to Detail is
the Beginning of Excellence". This expression expresses a process in which the
main elements for sterilization, disinfection and antisepsis are understood and
the details are now examined and developed, and the continuation of this process
with gradual improvements, and the orientation towards excellence for an
acceptable, reliable, provable and ultimately quality service.
The most fundamental goal of all stakeholders involved in health service
provision is to protect and improve human health. In health service provision;
in order to achieve better with this awareness and to aim for perfection, it is
necessary to benefit from all the possibilities of scientific and technological
developments. While we have reached a level where the main elements are
understood in DAS applications in our country, we are heading towards a journey
towards the presentation of more economical, ergonomic and functional services
by evaluating more advanced elements. The importance given to details on this
path will make a difference.
In our congress, the latest developments and
innovations in the field of disinfection, sterilization
and antisepsis in the health sector will be shared. In
addition to the basic concepts that will be presented in
accordance with the essence of the work; evaluating the
details that are important for people and our
environment will allow you to provide better quality and
safer service.
Our congress will bring together valuable scientists and
experts in the national and international fields in
terms of sharing knowledge and experience and will
provide a perfect sharing environment. Infection control,
central sterilization units, disinfection units,
biosecurity measures and scientific and technological
developments in this field will be discussed in our
scientific program.
This congress, which we will hold with the natural
beauties of Marmaris, will create a beautiful
environment in terms of sharing scientific knowledge and
experience as well as strengthening social ties.
Your participation in our congress will strengthen the
steps we take to increase quality and safety in health
services. We will be honored to host you in Marmaris in
light of the theme "Attention to Details is the
Beginning of Excellence".

Dear Participants, Colleagues, and
Enthusiasts of Disinfection, Antisepsis, and
Sterilisation,
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to
participate in the 15th International
Disinfection and Sterilisation Congress, to be
held from December 10–14, 2025, in the beautiful
town of Marmaris, Turkey. This globally
recognised event brings together leaders,
researchers, professionals, and stakeholders
committed to advancing the science and practice
of disinfection, antisepsis, and sterilisation
within the broader framework of infection
prevention and control.
The motto of this year’s congress is: “Attention
to Detail is the Beginning of Excellence.” We
firmly believe that sterilisation, antisepsis,
and disinfection require a rigorous scientific
approach, the adoption of evidence-based
practices, and the open and fair exchange of
research findings and field experiences.
Attention to detail is fundamental throughout
the complex processes of knowledge acquisition
and development. It helps clarify the strengths
and uncertainties of our everyday decisions,
provides motivation to improve practices,
identifies knowledge gaps, and creates
opportunities for innovation toward safe,
effective, and sustainable healthcare.
Disinfection, antisepsis, and sterilisation are
challenging disciplines. The targets of our
actions—microorganisms—are typically beyond our
visual capacity. Sterilisation is a special
process—one that cannot be verified solely by
final product testing but must be validated
through meticulous process control and quality
assurance from the outset. These demanding
working conditions require continuous commitment,
sustained by passionate involvement in these
fields and reinforced through ongoing education.
The scientific program will emphasise the
importance of adopting evidence-based practices
that are supported by validated outcomes, guided
by international standards, tested in real-world
environments, and adapted to local contexts.
Attendees will gain insight into current
challenges, regulatory developments, updated
guidelines, success stories, and cutting-edge
technologies that enhance effectiveness and
efficiency in infection prevention and control.
Furthermore, the congress serves as a pivotal
platform for fostering technological innovation
and encouraging professionals to remain agile
and future-oriented. Central Sterile Service
Departments are dynamic spaces where technology
and professional expertise converge, offering
exceptional potential for incubating and
promoting innovation. From breakthroughs in
sterilisation protocols to smart monitoring
systems, digital integration, and AI-powered
platforms, the future of sterilisation,
disinfection, and asepsis calls for open
collaboration and fresh thinking.
We warmly invite you to join this vibrant global
community to share experiences, explore new
ideas, and help shape the future of healthcare.
With kind regards,
Dr. Francesco Tessarolo
